She advised her mom to withdraw her listing for sale on her house of 9 years and rent it out instead. She realized that retaining the investment as a rental opportunity was likely a smarter and more rewarding move than selling. As it turns out, she was right. Unsurprisingly, her passion for the industry was piqued, and it’s only continued to flourish from there. She officially got her license in 2004, and hasn’t looked back since.
